Fabric compensators
Fabric compensators made by LBH International are being used to absorb thermal expansion,
misalignment, vibrations and noise in piping and ducting for gasses, clean air or combusion
gasses.These compensators can be a single or multi layer design in various profiles depending
on pressure and temperature.
Fabric compensators made by LBH International are installed all over the world in:
power stations, desulphurisation installations, DeNox installations, gasturbine ducting,
incinerator plants, cement factories, refineries, chemical installations, offshore platforms,
ventilation systems, filter systems and so on.
LBH International became the first manufacturer of fabric compensators certified for ISO 9001

quality products and with broad experience. Fabric compensators are hand made in all
dimensions and shapes and for any application. All raw materials are tested extensively
even before being used in production.
Designs:
Fabric compensators come in several profiles:
- Profile I : mounted with clamps, medium temperatures max. 400°C
- Profile II : mounted with flanges, medium temperatures max. 525°C and over pressure
- Profile III : mounted with flanges, medium temperatures max. 525°C and under pressure
- Profile IV : mounted with paralel flanges, medium temperatures max. 1000°C and over pressure
- Profile V : mounted with paralel flanges, medium temperatures max. 1000°C and under pressure
Fabric compensators come in several material compositions:
- LN : for clean air
- MN : for exhaust gas with low acid concentration
- RN : for exhaust gas with high acid concentration
- HD : for gasses with high concentration of chemicals
- GTX : for gasturbine applications
Apart from the frabric compensator itself we design and supply complete units comprising of
the fabric compensator, metal flanges and duct, which is easily mounted as unit between the duct flanges.
